Awards

In 2009, Dell named Sure Languages a top-10 national finalist in its Small Business Excellence Awards.

Despite not winning, Dell commissioned our interpreting services for the European winners’ event at its EMEA headquarters in Bracknell, UK. Attended by Michael Dell, founder and CEO of Dell, the two-day event brought together country winners from around Europe.

Dell said, “Everything went extremely well on Monday and Tuesday, and Blanca [SL interpreter] was very professional and helpful throughout. Her expertise and professionalism reflected very well on Sure Languages”.

Best E-Business 2009 - By adopting technology that adds value to our customers, along with careful planning and a robust technology strategy, the FSB declared us winner of the Best E-Business 2009 award.

Best New Business 2009 - Although Sure Languages began its life in early 2007, at time of entry our business was still eligible for the Best New Business category. We won this award as a result of the planning, development, business model and management that made Sure Languages the successful company it is today.

Judged by Dragons’ Den star Theo Paphitis, we won the 2007 UPS Local Business Award for ‘delivering more’ to our customers and the community. Our prize for this award was an extensive advertising package on GWR Radio (now Heart).
